The color lavender encourages calmness and tranquility of mind and is useful for both self reflection and invoking a relaxed, meditative state. Lavender is the theme color for LGRAAMH.

Our mission at LGRAAMH is to facilitate healthy conversations and raise awareness surrounding student-athlete mental wellness. We do this by giving athletes a platform to share their story, streamlining resources, and building community.

ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT
American Foundation for Suicide PreventionThe American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a voluntary health organization based in New York City, with a public policy office based in Washington, D.C., and local chapters in all 50 states in the United States. The organization's stated mission is to "save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide."
katie's saveKaties Save is an organization that was created in honor of the late Katie Meyer, a Stanford soccer player who passed away by suicide in 2022. Per their mission statement, Katies Save is based on the principle of student-choice and has a mission to implement a policy where students can opt for an adult 'Designated Advocate' to receive notice and provide support when they need it most. The initiative of Katies Save is to prevent future tragedies.
RESILIENCE RALLYResilience Rally is a mental health nonprofit organization that aims to destigmatize mental health by showcasing authentic examples of resilience in our everyday lives. This is a mental health focused initiative where they share resources and stories to help people feel less alone in their struggle. Resilience Rally also offers free and affordable professional individual therapy through BetterHelp, group counseling through a number of partner organizations, and mental health workshops. Resilience Rally also has hosted various MHA events, such as the Resilience Run 5K.
The Jed FoundationThe Jed Foundation is a non-profit organization that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for teens and young adults in the United States. JED partners with high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs and systems.

Hope Happens HereFounded in 2015 through the Saint Michael’s College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Hope Happens Here is a student-led movement that aims to promote mental health awareness and mental wellbeing on college campuses, in particular student-athletes. Through events such as athletic awareness games, presentations, and sponsored events, we are intent on starting the conversation to help break the negative stigma that surrounds issues regarding mental health.
Morgan's Message Morgan’s Message strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics in honor of late Duke lacrosse player Morgan Rodgers. They aim to expand the dialogue on mental health by normalizing conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence, and supporting those who feel alone.
The HIDDEN OPPONENT The Hidden Opponent is an advocacy group that addresses the stigma attached to athlete mental health. Mental health is not talked about enough and it is time for a change - Their mission is to advocate and fundraise for the support of mental health for athletes around the globe.
The Trevor ProjectThe Trevor Project is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1998 focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth.
